It is finally March, which means that spring is just around the corner. If you’re like me, you are more than ready to put away your sweaters and get out your sandals and sun dresses. Whether you are ready to go bright and bold or mellow with light pastels, you can liven up your look with the swift swipe of some polish.
White- Shades of white were huge at New York Fashion Week with everyone from Rag & Bone to Chanel. This look serves as a refined and minimalistic accent to any outfit.
Gray– Subtle shades of gray are having a major moment this Spring. If dark charcoal is too harsh for you, go for a soft dove gray or something with a shimmer.
Flamingo Pink– This pop of pink instantly reminds me of warmer weather. For a twist on last years matchy-matchy lip and nails, pair this vibrant nail hue with a equally daring pink lip.
Pastel Yellow– Some yellow polishes can make your nails look a bit sickly, but a pastel lemon- hue like the two below will add a fresh pop of color to your manicure routine.
Tangerine– Sure Emerald may be the Pantone color of 2013, but Tangerine is not ready to step down quite yet. This bright citrus shade is the perfect alternative to the classic coral.
Mint– Green is projected to be the color of 2013 in fashion- and nails. For Spring, tone down the hue with a refreshing mint shade.
Lavender– Nothing says spring more than soft shades of lavender. This shade of purple looks good with every skin tone and will be the perfect accent to any spring outfit.
